About ~ Natasha Harms

I am a self taught artist who loves working with all types of mediums. My favorites are stain and oil paints.  There are two types of art that I find myself going back to over and over again.  The first and most important to me is my word art.  I am a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and love conveying what the Lord is teaching me through paint.  Putting His truths into word pictures is a great visual to remind me of what He is teaching me.  It is also a great way to share my heart and passion for Him with others in a visual way.

The second type of art that I enjoy is wood stain art.  I have been converted into a country girl by my husband.  We live on an acreage with our four kids, 4 horses, 3 dogs and multiple cats. (Until the coyotes thin them out...) Anytime that I can capture the rugged beauty of Alberta in a unique way is a joy for me.  I find working with stain on wood challenging and that it brings a new twist on scenes we tend to take for granted.  I hope to bring beauty to life and create conversations around my paintings.
